GM Experience the Ride

 Auto show attendees will have a chance to sit behind the wheel and get a real feel for the performance and handling of several models from General Motors.  Ride & Drive will take place in front of the Orange County Convention Center.

 

Hours of Operation:

Friday, November 28 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday, November 29 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, November 30 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Auto show attendees will have a chance to sit behind the wheel and get a real feel for the performance and handling of several models from Hyundai including the Genesis, Azera, Sonata, Veracruz, and Elantra.  Ride & Drive will take place in Lot D.

Toyota Behind the Wheel Adventure

The Toyota Behind the Wheel Adventure gives auto show attendees the opportunity to test drive* a Toyota 4x4 Tundra, Tacoma and FJ Cruiser on a challenging off-road course filled with large moguls, steep berms, a big hill, tunnel and teeter totter. There is no cost to participate, and everyone receives a free gift, including the kids.  One of each vehicle will be on display and friendly product specialists will be available to answer questions.

 

Hours of Operation:

Thursday, November 27 12 noon to 10 p.m.

Friday, November 28 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, November 29 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday, November 30 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

*To drive, auto show attendees must be 18 or older and have current a driver's license. Minors can attend the event with a parent or legal guardian, and children can ride as passengers if they are at least 4' 9" (57 inches) tall or over 8 years old. Children 8 years and older who are not 57 inches tall may ride with proof of age (birth certificate or passport).  There will be no additional fee to drive or participate in the event.

Concepts & Pre-Production Models

Check out the futuristic concept cars and pre-production models that are sure to steal the spotlight at this year's show. These vehicles provide a glimpse of what is around the corner in automotive design and technology. Concept vehicles are subject to change and are displayed at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.

Follow the Green Trail

The Green Trail is designed to highlight the latest trends in alternative fuel vehicles.  Through green directional arrows placed along adjacent aisle carpet and a separate auto show map noting their locations, attendees will be able to compare the latest fuel-efficient and alternative fuel models and learn how new technology can help save money at the gas pump as well as promoting a cleaner environment.

NOBEL SON Movie Pass Giveaway!

IGX Guitar Hero® Tournament

On Saturday, November 29 stop by the IGX display area and register for a Guitar Hero® Tournament.  The tournament is limited to the first 32 entrants and begins at 4 p.m.  On a 42” Plasma screen, two Guitar controllers will be operative, with the screen set to accommodate two players at once.  Both players will compete on a single song, with the contestant scoring the highest total of points moving on to the next round.  The rounds are single elimination and are played through until a winner is determined in the end.  The winner will receive a gift card to a local area video game store, supplied by IGX.
