MILWAUKEE, WI – (January 31, 2014) Grab a feather boa or slap on a soot suit and get ready to party. Revel in the Roaring ’20s scene—where luxury Gatsby cars symbolized an era of glittering jazz, glamorous fashion and gleaming decadence—at this year’s 2014 Greater Milwaukee Auto Show Gala on Friday, February 21!
Dames and gents can sip on vintage cocktails, enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and delectable desserts, and bid on grand items at the silent and live auctions from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and then can kick up their heels to the jazz sounds House of Rhythm Orchestra from 9 p.m. to midnight.
The Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee, Inc. (ADAMM), through the gala, helps fund the Junior Achievement Finance Park, part of the new Junior Achievement Kohl’s Education Center. The Finance Park is a month-long economics education program that introduces personal financial planning and career exploration. All proceeds from the Auto Show Gala will benefit Junior Achievement Wisconsin. Junior Achievement, an organization with over 400 sites in Metro Milwaukee, inspires and prepares young adults to succeed in the global economy. JA helps students develop the competence, confidence and character to make smart academic and economic decisions. Junior Achievement: Empowering young people to own their economic success.
Individual tickets to the Auto Show Gala are $250 and tables can be purchased for $3,000 (tables include10 tickets). Valet parking is available at the Wells St. Entrance of the Wisconsin Center. The Greater Milwaukee Auto Show is presented by the Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee, sponsored by JS Autos powered and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, LLC, the nation’s largest auto show producer and part of the Source Interlink Companies, Inc. The auto show will be open to the public Saturday, February 22 through Sunday, March 2 at the Wisconsin Center, located at 400 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Show hours are Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $11 for adults, $8 for senior citizens (62 and older, Monday – Thursday only), $8 for students (21 and under with ID), and $5 for children ages 7-12. Children six and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult and all children 12 and under are admitted for free on Family Day on March 2.
