2010-Model Motor Trend International Auto Show – Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. – (October 29, 2009) Before it goes on sale in the United States, Ford is offering attendees a sneak peek and a test drive of the 2011 Ford Fiesta at the Motor Trend International Auto Show – Las Vegas. The “Ford Fiesta Movement Ride & Drive” allows attendees to take a spin right outside the auto show entrance on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. *Ride and drive will end at dusk.

The ride and drive encourages attendees to try the Fiesta on for size before it comes Stateside, as well as to experience the power and handling under real driving conditions. Those who complete a test drive will receive a downloadable music playlist compiled with the Fiesta audience in mind. Test drivers also will be eligible to win the grand prize – two all-expense paid trips for two to attend top music festivals in Chicago, New Orleans and Indio, Calif. Trips also include VIP/backstage passes and VIP access to Spin magazine’s after parties.

Along with the vehicle drives, the test drive location will be a free wireless internet hotspot. This will allow participants to share their Fiesta experiences immediately following the drive, providing the online community with real-time test drive updates. While inside the auto show, be sure to stop by the Ford display to see even more of the lineup and talk to manufacturer and dealer representatives.

The Motor Trend International Auto Show – Las Vegas is presented by the Southern Nevada Franchised New Car and Truck Dealers Association and the Nevada Franchised Auto Dealers Association and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, LLC, the nation’s largest auto show producer and part of the Source Interlink Companies, Inc. The show is sponsored by the Las Vegas Review Journal and RJAutos.com. The auto show will be open to the public Friday, November 27 through Sunday, November 29, at the Las Vegas Convention Center Hall S3, located at 3150 Paradise Road. Free parking is available for attendees in Silver Lots #3 and #4.  

Show hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for military, students, senior citizens (62 and older) and children ages 7-12. Children six and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
