Harrisburg, Pa. – (January 16, 2013) Pennsylvania Auto Show attendees won’t want to miss Jimmy Riffle of the popular Animal Planet show, Gator Boys. Jimmy and several of his reptile friends will greet fans between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26 in the main hall of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.
The Gator Boys is a show about two men, Paul Bedard and Jimmy Riffle, who defy death by capturing alligators with their bare hands. The series, now in its second season, continues to draw millions of viewers who watch wide eyed as the pair wrangle wild Florida and Mississippi gators and rescue countless reptiles from swamps, canals, master bedrooms, swimming pools and outdoor cafés.
Jimmy has been working with native and exotic wildlife since he was 11 years old. He studied at the alligator zoo Native Village in Hollywood, Florida on the Seminole Indian reservation, working alongside dozens of experts to learn everything he possibly could about wild animals. Jimmy met his partner and friend Paul Bedard as a young volunteer at the Native Village. They worked side-by-side wrangling gators and catching venomous snakes. Jimmy and Paul are still working together as co-owners of Gator Boys Alligator Rescue in the Florida Everglades. Jimmy said, "The learning experience I get through working with wildlife every day and meeting new people is a blessing. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world."
