2010 Motor Trend International Auto Show – Baltimore

Three Ride & Drives in One!  Auto show attendees will have a chance to sit behind the wheel and get a real feel for the performance and handling of several vehicles from Chevrolet, Buick and GMC, including the 2010 Chevy Camaro, the Buick LaCrosse and the GMC Terrain.  Drivers must be at least 21 and have a valid driver's license.

Hours of Operation:
Friday, February 12          10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday, February 13      10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, February 14        10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Check out the pre-production models that are sure to steal the spotlight at this year's show.  These vehicles provide a glimpse of what is around the corner in automotive design and technology.  Vehicles are subject to change and are displayed at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.

The Green Trail is designed to highlight the latest trends in alternative fuel vehicles.  Through green directional arrows placed along adjacent aisle carpet, attendees will be able to compare the latest fuel-efficient and alternative fuel models and learn how new technology can help save money at the gas pump as well as promoting a cleaner environment.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Camaro Concept – A fan of vintage Camaros, Dale Earnhardt Jr. inspired this Camaro which includes a V-8 engine modified to run on E85, a Brembo brake package and a custom paint job with 21-inch five spoke wheels.  Also requested by Dale Jr. was custom audio system complete with amps and subwoofers.

Camaro “Black” Concept – With its ominous matte-black custom paint scheme and the red-glowing HID headlamp halo rings, this Camaro strikes fear in their competition. 

Another SEMA creation, the Street Concepts Genesis Sedan will also be on display. This Pearl White Hyundai Genesis features the artwork of Detroit-based illustrator and graphic designer Courtney Mason. In addition to the graphic, the exterior of the Genesis is outfitted with carbon fiber roof panels, black chrome accents and upper and lower spoilers. With smooth lines and a luxurious interior, the Street Concepts Genesis Sedan is sure to inspire the tuner crowd.

Baltimore Orioles retired player and 1983 World Series Champion pitcher Scott McGregor will make an appearance and will be signing free autographs for fans on Saturday, February 13, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the Baltimore Orioles Booth.  Attendees are not guaranteed to see player during times indicated.

Talon, the mascot for D.C. United, will make an appearance at the auto show on Saturday, February 13 between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Volkswagen Booth.  Attendees are not guaranteed to see mascot during times indicated.

Test drive the hottest, new video games on one of 15 gaming stations including the Microsoft Xbox 360™, Sony PLAYSTATION®3 and Nintendo Wii™.  Free for all attendees, the video games featured are rated from E (Everyone) to T (Teen).  Enter in a Guitar Hero® Tournament at the IGX video game display and the winner will receive a Microsoft Xbox 360™ Console.  Tournament starts at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 13.  Visit display for more details.

On Saturday, February 13 stop by the IGX display area and register for a Guitar Hero® Tournament.  The tournament is limited to the first 32 entrants and begins at 4 p.m.  On a 42” Plasma screen, two Guitar controllers will be operative, with the screen set to accommodate two players at once.  Both players will compete on single song, with the contestant scoring the highest total of points moving on to the next round.  The rounds are single elimination and are played through until a winner is determined in the end.  One Microsoft Xbox 360™ Console will be awarded to the winner of the tournament.

All children 12 and under are admitted FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.
