AUTO EXPO 2008 - THE LONG ISLAND AUTO SHOW OFFERS
TWO-FOR-ONE ADMISSION TO COLLEGE STUDENTS ON
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19

UNIONDALE, N.Y. - (September 24, 2007) Extending an invitation to the more than 100,000 college students in the surrounding region, Auto Expo 2008 - The Long Island Auto Show will once again host College Two-Fer Day, on Friday, October 19, 2007. In addition to being able to check out new models from more than 25 manufacturers, students will also be able to explore futuristic concept cars, exotic cars, the IGX Video Game Arena and more. The show will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and college students with valid college IDs who buy one $10 adult admission at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum box office, will get a second adult admission free, with a second valid college ID.

The auto show offers something for everyone. Most of the vehicles are unlocked and attendees are encouraged to sit in the vehicles, push buttons, inspect engines and compare legroom on hundreds of new models.

Students and recent graduates won't want to miss some of the hottest grad-friendly vehicles including the redesigned Ford Focus, Mazda3, Toyota Yaris, Scion tC, Jeep Compass, Chevrolet Aveo, Suzuki SX4 and the Nissan Versa. Those in search of a "greener" vehicle will want to check out the latest hybrids and flex-fuel models on display from several manufacturers. Plus, several futuristic concepts cars including Bumblebee™, the Chevrolet Camaro Concept, featured in the summer blockbuster TRANSFORMERS™, and exotics, courtesy of the duPont REGISTRY™, will be on display throughout the show.

College students and recent graduates in the market for a new vehicle will be pleased to know that nearly all manufacturers offer incentive programs. Although they vary, manufacturer incentives typically include lower down payments, lower interest rates, rebates and cash bonuses. These college incentive programs generally require students to be within four months of graduation, or have graduated and been out of school for up to 24 months. Interested students are encouraged to speak with auto show manufacturer representatives or visit the dealership of their choice for more information on program details.

Auto Expo 2008 - The Long Island Auto Show is presented by Newsday and produced by International Automotive Showcase in conjunction with Motor Trend Auto Shows, Inc. The auto show will be open to the public Thursday, October 18 through

Sunday, October 21 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, located at 1255 Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale, New York. Show hours are Thursday and Friday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for senior citizens (62 and older) and children (ages 4 through 11) and free for children age three and younger.
