The first-ever "Miss OC Auto Show Pageant" will take place on the Al & Ed's Xtreme Sound Stage live at the OC Auto Show, at the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday, October 5th, 2007. Come dressed to impress and show us that you have what  it takes. Bring yourself, your friends and your entourage! The winner will take home $1,000 and be entered in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Orange County Pageant the next day! DUB® Magazine Celebrity Car Showcase

Come see a 5,000 square-foot display showcasing several tricked-out vehicles from various music and sports celebrities along with a DUB big rig, courtesy of DUB Magazine.


Unique Vehicle Display



From the auto show floor, to celebrity garages, Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters, Inc. (GFMI) has proven itself as the premier source for quality, craftsmanship and precision in transportation manufacturing. GFMI is responsible for some of the most exciting limited edition and concept vehicles in the world, courtesy of Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters, Inc. and Camera Ready Cars.

This display is highlighted by the Foose Coupe. This vehicle first debuted back in SEMA 2006 as the Hemisfear concept car.  Now, that concept has been made into a reality. The 550-horsepower open wheeled hot rod blends design elements of a 1933 Ford coupe and the performance of a 1970 Cuda. Each of the 50 Foose Coupes, in this limited production, will be autographed by Chip Foose.

Back once again, the Orange County Auto Show will be featuring a unique collection of ultra high-end exotic vehicles, courtesy of duPont REGISTRY. Vehicles subject to change without notice.
   

SO-CAL Speed Shop Display






Jimmy Shine's 1934 Bare Metal Ford Pickup "Bare Nekkid" - Built back in 1997, this hot rod bridged the gap between "old timers" and the "new breed." Shine's truck is arguably the most photographed hot rod of all time. Jimmy Shine's new television series, Hard Shine, can be seen weekly on TLC.

1970 El Camino Supercar - Equiped with a Chevy LS7 427 engine and body work by SO-CAL Speed Shop, this supercar was featured on TLC's new hit, Hard Shine, courtesy of Spectre Performance.


Interactive Video Game Arena


Test drive the hottest, new driving and sports video games on one of 17 gaming stations including the Microsoft Xbox 360™, Sony PLAYSTATION®3 and Nintendo Wii™.  Free for all attendees, the video games featured are rated from E (Everyone) to T (Teen). Register on site to win either a Guitar Hero package or a Nintendo Wii video game system. Visit display for details.

Radio Controlled Car Display



Take the controls of the latest rc18r models and test your skills on an interactive driving course, courtesy of Team Associated. Team Associated is the world's "winningest" RC car manufacturer.
 

KIDS ZONE

Bring the kids to the auto show so they can experience the 44ft. Inflatable Obstacle Course and the basketball themed Mini All Star Hoops.  The choice is yours.  There is something to do for all the kids at the auto show on Saturday, October 6 between 10am - 7pm and Sunday, October 7 between 10am - 5pm.

Anaheim Ducks Street Team Display

Stop by the Anaheim Ducks booth for an interactive experience with the Street Team that runs Ducks promotions.  Try your luck at the prize wheel or see the tricked-out “Duck Truck.”

On Sunday, October 7 between 12 noon and 2 p.m., stop by and meet “Wild Wing” the Anaheim Ducks Mascot. Attendees are not guaranteed to see mascot during advertised hours.

A state-of-the-art totally self-contained tractor trailer, with a goal to help you and your kids get the resources to help them become safer, better, and more responsible drivers.


The Festival Explorer

Celebrating its 75th Anniversary and voted one of the top three festival's in the United States by American Style magazine readers, every summer the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts features the artwork of 140 of the “OC's” most talented artists and the world-famous stage presentation of the Pageant of the Masters, where art literally comes to life. It's a show where live people are transformed into life-sized re-creations of classical and contemporary paintings, sculptures and other works of art, combined with narration and original orchestral scores. As part of its milestone Anniversary, the Festival of Arts transformed a RV (sponsored by the Orange County Register) into a museum on wheels.  This unique vehicle is traveling and stopping at various locations throughout southern California showcasing the rich history of the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters.

 

Automotive Career Center

While at the show, students are also encouraged to check out the automotive education display. Featuring a variety of information about automotive careers, this special exhibit will focus on technology, education and career opportunities in the automotive industry, courtesy of Cerritos College.
